Kenya. Turkana. Nalapatui pan lies 17 km from Kalobeiyei, close to a chain of low hills fringing the scarp which forms the Uganda/Kenya border. In late October, this improbable oasis still holds a good reservoir of water from the ‘long rains’ in April-May.
